Hello, what are the pros/cons (if any) of taking a 20 month old to Disney World? I'm trying to convince my husband this is a great idea. I am dying to take my daughter!!

Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Denise! I personally feel like you are never too young or too old to visit the "Happiest Place on Earth!" However, I am a little biased!  I brought my own children when they were just 18 months and 2 years of age! I definitely think your daughter would love experiencing all the magic of Disney! You will be amazed at just how many attractions that your "little one" will be able to experience! I would definitely recommend visiting Magic Kingdom, which has the most attractions for "little ones" in my personal opinion.Your daughter will probably love watching the parades and firework displays, as well as, seeing the Disney Characters. One huge benefit of bringing your daughter at this age is that children under three receive free admission to the theme parks. At table-service restaurants (Character Dining Experiences included), there is no charge for children under three who share from an adult's plate. Although some may feel it is too difficult to bring small children to Disney, I have found firsthand that Walt Disney World is actually the easiest place to vacation with my children. My biggest tip for families visiting Disney is to stay on property. Follow this link provided to view all of the benefits of staying at a Disney Resort. With small children, it is so nice to be able to easily travel back to the Resort for a midday nap or break and then return to the parks in the evening refreshed and ready to experience the nighttime activities. I hope this information helps in convincing your husband that a trip to Disney World is a great idea!  Please feel free to write back if you have any additional questions that I can assist you with. Keeping my fingers crossed that you get the okay to start planning your Magical Walt Disney World Vacation, Denise!
