Dean from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Is proof of vaccination or a negative test required or is it just encouraged?

Welcome to planDisney, Dean! Thanks so much for sending us your planning question about the Disneyland Resort!

While the State of California strongly recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort, it is not mandatory. Cast Members will not check for vaccination proof or for negative COVID tests prior to entering Disneyland Resort theme parks.

Before your visit, it's a good idea to check out the Experience Updates webpage. Everything you need to know about all the health and safety measures being taken all over the Disneyland Resort will be right there for you.

Dean, I hope this information is helpful. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more questions. It's always our pleasure to help you with all the details of your next visit!

    Have a magical vacation!
