Is my proof of time from the Wine and Dine 2023 half marathon still applicable as a qualifying time for Wine and Dine 2025?

Hi there, Grace. Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney! I love the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend because the theme parks are decorated for the holidays (Halloween or Christmas, depending on when the dates fall) and you get that bonus post-race party. There’s nothing more magical than being in the parks after hours!

The details for the 2025 Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend haven’t been released yet, but keep an eye on runDisney.com. General registration opens on February 11th, so the website will likely be updated soon.

Last year the Wine & Dine half marathon proof of time needed to be from an officially timed race on a USATF-certified course reflecting results between January 1, 2022 and May 1, 2024. If they follow a similar window this year, your proof of time from the 2023 Wine & Dine half marathon should be eligible. Once the website is updated for the 2025 race weekend, you can find the exact dates by visiting the Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend page, clicking on the race you’re interested in, and scrolling down to Proof of Time Guidelines. Note that you need to check the individual race page, not the Race Policies page for the whole weekend (there’s general proof of time information there, but without specifics).

If you’re looking for somewhere to eat a hearty dinner before the post-race party starts, I love Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club Resort, steps from EPCOT’s International Gateway entrance. Who doesn’t love a good buffet recovery meal?! Or for something a little fancier to celebrate your finish, check out the new Cake Bake Shop on the other side of Crescent Lake.

Good luck with race registration next month. And remember, every mile is magic!
