Hi Nela and welcome to
planDisney! I’m so happy to see that you have plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with your family in May. I’m happy to help you figure out your ticket situation.
As long as you have any of the items on the list as
Proof of Florida Residency, you and your wife will have no problem purchasing and using theme park tickets for Florida Residents. Children under the age of 18 don't need to show proof of residency. Only the adults purchasing the tickets for them would need proof.
Nela, one time, my husband left his wallet at our
Disney Resort hotel room when we went to show our Proof of Florida Residency at the theme park ticket window. We were able to verify his residency because his name was on our car insurance policy card that I had in my wallet. That would work too! You can also bring a utility bill with you, that is less than two months old.
Remember that you can show proof of residency at any ticket window at the four theme parks or the guest services location at
Disney Springs.
Once you have purchased your tickets, go ahead and log on to your
My Disney Experience account to make your
Disney Park Pass Reservations. Everyone in your travel party will need a reservation for the park you’d like to visit. Don’t worry, you can make your park pass reservation with a Florida Resident ticket that still hasn’t been verified yet!
I hope this information is helpful! Please feel free to come back to see us here or at
planDisney en Español if you have any more planning questions.
¡Hasta pronto!
Veronica
