Now that proof of residency can be done online when purchasing the tickets is it still required that the FL resident be present when the child ticket they purchased for a non -resident is picked up?

    Hiya Tina!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have some very lucky kiddos about ready to have a magical vacation! 2020 is THE yEAR to visit, as there are so many exciting things happening at Walt Disney World Resort! I don’t know whether I am more excited about Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway or Space 220!

It sounds like the Florida resident who purchased the minor tickets might not be available for pick-up. Currently, the way to activate Florida Resident discounted tickets for a child is with the resident present. Online verification makes the process a bit simpler for adults, but right now, the resident purchaser needs to be present at pick up for minors.

No worries if they want to skip out on the Parks after the tickets are activated. Once the pass is assigned to each kid, they will be free to enter the Parks on their own. (As long as they are over 14 or have a ticketed adult with them).

Tina, I hope y’all have a magical vacation. Feel free to swing back by if you have any more questions.

    See ya real soon!
