    What is the process for traveling via bus (is a tram/monorail involved) from the art of animation to each park and how long does it take?

    Hi Lyndsay!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another great question.

    Your stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is coming up quickly.  You must be so excited!  I recently toured this fun resort with Alfredo, the General Manager.  He is so proud of this resort and strives to make sure all guests are well taken care of.  Be sure to stroll through each area of the resort to see the unique decor.  I was so impressed with how the landscaping and plants varied to reflect the unique ambiance of each area.  Also check out the fun activities held daily at The Big Blue Pool.

    While getting around Walt Disney World may seem confusing at first, you’ll soon be a pro!  Transportation from Disney’s Art of Animation Resort will be by bus.  Bus stops are in front of the main entrance to Animation Hall and are clearly marked.  It takes around 15-20 minutes to reach most destinations, and buses run approximately every 20 minutes, more frequently during busier times of day.  I usually plan to leave my resort room about an hour prior to my desired arrival time to allow for transportation and security.  There will be a display board at the bus stop indicating when the next bus is due to arrive, and you can also find bus wait times on the My Disney Experience mobile app.  You will not need to transfer to a tram or monorail to reach the Theme Parks.  All guests are welcome to use all transportation, so feel free to take a boat or monorail ride if you like.
