We are in the process of planning a trip to Disney in 2013 and I was wondering in your opinion what time of year is best. We were thinking or either early May or late September.

    Hi Estelle,

If I had to choose between early May and late September, I'd go with September every time.

The weather at those times of the year will be fairly equivalent, with highs in the mid to high 80s. The big difference is the crowd level, which will be MUCH lower in September.

There are also lots of other pluses to a September visit: the Halloween parties will be happening at the Magic Kingdom and you may have an opportunity to see the opening of the Epcot Food & Wine Festival (dates for 2013 are not yet out).

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
