I am in the process of booking cruise #3 on the Fantasy. But, I can't decide if I should go over Thanksgiving or New Years...any thoughts? Any suggestions on what to see/do in St. Thomas/St. John & Puerto Rico. I know what to do at Castaway... RELAX

    Hi Holly!

Thanks for writing  back!  I just returned from the Fantasy, and I love to hear you are planning on sailing on her as well!  I think either time would be magical, but if you go around New Years the ship may still be decorated for the holidays.  It also might be fun to ring in the New Year at sea!

I always enjoy visiting the islands of St. Thomas and St. John.  On St. Thomas, Maagens Bay is spectacular, and Disney does offer the Maagens Bay Beach Break as a Port Adventure.  Coral World is a great excursion for all ages and can be coupled with a scenic tour or a submarine ride.  I have taken the St. John Island Tour and loved seeing the natural beauty of this island.  The Port Adventures for Puerto Rico have not yet been released so stay tuned to DisneyCruise.com for more information.  And of course, you already know about Disney's amazing private oasis, Castaway Cay!  It is my absolute favorite port of call, and I have treasured every moment I have spent in Disney's Bahamian paradise!

Once you are booked for your Disney Fantasy vacation, please let me know if you have any further questions!  I'm always happy to help!

    Have a fantastical day!
