Probably a silly question but I am trying to budget for our trip 2 adults 1 child (older daughter will be with school in Disney) Is giving old daughter 200 enough for 4 days. Is 2000 enough for the rest of us? We are staying using dinning plan? thanks

Hi, Erik!  When my oldest daughter went to Walt Disney World with her senior trip, we gave her $200 after reviewing what was going to be included with the trip.  You want to make sure they have some meals provided and that your daughter hasn't booked anything with her friends like a character meal or something that might be a bit more expensive than the typical counter service meal.  For my daughter's trip, they only had to pay for lunches three days, but we knew she'd want to get a t-shirt to match all of her friends.  She actually came home with change (which I'm sure she kept to get her nails done or to buy lip glosses to add to the growing collection!).

Now for the rest of you - what will the $2000 cover?  Is that going to include your hotel, theme park passes, and the cost of the dining plan?  Depending on accommodations, this should cover you.  You also don't mention if you'll be in the theme parks all four days, or if you'll be park hopping, but for four days, you should still be fine.  I'd be happy to help you hash out a budget if you want to send me a little more information!

I hope that you all enjoy a wonderful visit!
