Hello there, Eric!
Welcome back to planDisney and we're so glad that you've returned with another question! That's great that you're planning ahead for your vacation and we want to help you be as prepared as possible. I'm excited for you to see all the changes that are taking place at
Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, which will soon be transformed into the
Pixar Place Hotel! In fact, the new
Pool area containing the Pixel Pool, Crush's Surfin' Slide and Nemo's Cove Splash Pad just re-opened! On select nights, you'll be able to view Disneyland Park's fireworks with a live, synchronized soundtrack from the Pool Deck. To be kept up to date, you can follow along with
construction updates as the transformation progresses.
There is indeed a private entrance into Disney California Adventure for guests staying at Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. As you exit the hotel, turn left to head north on Disneyland Drive and cross the street at the light to head towards Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. You should see a gate to your right for guests of the Paradise Pier Hotel and you will need to scan your hotel key for entrance. This walkway will take you to a private entrance where you will scan your ticket and enter Disney California Adventure at Paradise Gardens Park! It is so incredibly convenient and a wonderful perk!
Don't forget that you also get
Early Entry benefits for staying at an official Disneyland Resort Hotel. You'll be able to get a lot done in the mornings before the Parks get more crowded. The entire Resort is so beautifully decorated for the
Holidays and I know that you'll be feeling festive in no time!
Eric, I hope that this was helpful in your planning. As always, feel free to come back again if you have further questions because you're always welcome at planDisney! Until next time!
Wishing You a Great, Big, Beautiful Tomorrow!
