Hi Becky,
Welcome to planDisney! Ohana means family, and you're about to feel right at home with your stay at
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! It’s one of my all-time favorites, where every corner feels like a warm hug wrapped in tropical breezes and Dole Whip dreams.
Now let’s talk ‘
Ohana (because... yum!). While staying at the Polynesian Resort doesn’t give you priority reservations at this ever-popular dining spot, here’s the good news: as a Disney Resort hotel Guest, you can make your dining reservations 60 days before your check-in date, plus book for your entire length of stay (up to 10 nights). That gives you a head start over non-resort Guests who have to book one day at a time!
‘Ohana dinner slots fill up faster than Stitch can say “cousin,” so I recommend hopping on the
My Disney Experience app right at 6:00 AM (ET) on your booking day for the best shot. If you don’t see availability, keep checking! Cancellations pop up all the time. And once you’re on property, don’t forget the walk-up list feature in the app. You might just get lucky with a last-minute seat!
Now, here's a little insider tip for a second helping of ‘Ohana flavors. Just head next door to
Tambu Lounge. This cozy spot serves up some of the same fan-favorite bites (like the iconic potstickers and wings), plus delicious tropical drinks. It’s the perfect Plan B or even a delicious encore if you just can’t get enough!
Wishing you a stay filled with sunset strolls, tiki torches, and lots of pineapple-scented memories. Let me know if you need help planning anything else.
I’m always happy to share a little extra pixie dust!
Aloha for now,
Emille
