An apple a day keeps the Evil Queen away, Kayla! Welcome to planDisney, where we try to keep all princesses safe from poison in any form, especially in fruit. I, too, love a big juicy caramel apple, and no one knows how to decorate them like
Walt Disney World Resort. But eating them can be a bit challenging, especially when you're on the go in the
Theme Parks. So let's ask the mirror on the wall what the current policy is.
I spoke with a Cast Member who said that some locations can now slice caramel apples for guests. He said to try
Main Street Confectionary at Magic Kingdom Park and possibly
Disney's Candy Cauldron at Disney Springs. Both locations have been able to slice caramel apples recently, but please remember that policies can change daily.
If you find that your apple can't be sliced, please know that Cast Members will provide you with a plastic knife and fork, and I think that with some patience and skill, you should be able to do an adequate job of apple slicing with those rudimentary tools. If that isn't a-PEEL-ing, then I suggest you purchase the desired apple before leaving the park. You can then use a regular knife from home to slice and dice that apple in your
Disney Resort Hotel room. Please refrain from bringing a knife to the parks, or security will undoubtedly tell you that you are not the fairest of them all.
Kayla, I'm crossing my caramel-sticky fingers that you can get your yummy caramel apples sliced on your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World. And if you can't, you can always opt for an easy-to-eat churro!
Stop by planDisney anytime! Have a great time on your upcoming Disney adventure!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
