    Prior to covid, you could opt out of daily housekeeping in the Disney resorts, and get gift card credit for each night you stay. Are they still doing that in Fall 2020?

    Hi there, Pat! 

    Pat, I was one of the many who sometimes took advantage of the Service Your Way program, which allowed me to opt-out of Housekeeping in exchange for a gift card. 

    Part of the update to the Walt Disney World Resort hotel experience includes using new and enhanced cleaning procedures, so the Service Your Way program is not currently available. Instead, this enhanced cleaning will focus on sanitizing floors and high-touch areas before you even check-in. Additionally, all glassware and amenities are wrapped in plastic, so you can be sure they have been thoroughly sanitized. Once you check-in, you will receive a light cleaning every other day, with a focus on removing trash, wiping down surfaces, and refreshing towels.
