Aloha Janice!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a stunning tropical oasis with its South Pacific island ambiance. Whenever I enter the lobby of the Resort hotel, I feel like I could enjoy my entire vacation there without leaving the property. With incredible
recreation options like the
Lava Pool which features a towering volcano, beautiful waterfall, along with a massive slide, it’s no wonder I never want to leave! Speaking of leaving, the location of the Resort hotel can’t be beat! Take the Walt Disney World
Monorail Transportation from the second floor of the Resort hotel, and in two stops, you’ll find yourself at
Magic Kingdom Park! It doesn’t get more magical than that.
The price of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort truly depends on what you are looking to reserve. As it is a Deluxe Resort, room prices can start from $541 a night, and prices are always subject to change. If you are looking to book a Room-Only reservation, you will need to call
Disney Resort Hotel Reservation and a Cast Member will be happy to set that up for you. A Room-Only reservation can be made 500 days before check-in. If you are looking to book a
Disney Vacation Package, you will likely need to wait until this summer to find rates because historically, those are released in the summer for the coming year. I like to make my Room-only reservations as early as possible because it saves a room at the Resort hotel I want to stay at. I then have the option of calling back at a later time when packages are released to upgrade the reservation if I want to add Theme Park
tickets.
Janice,
dining at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is such a delight! One of my favorite places to eat breakfast on property is at
Kona Cafe. If you decide to eat there, be sure to grab the notorious Tonga Toast, they are absolutely scrumptious! If you need a midday snack and a reprieve from the heat, just off of the main lobby you will find
Pineapple Lanai that serves the infamous and legendary frozen treat, DOLE Whip®.
All of the Walt Disney World
Resort hotels are unique and enchanting in their own ways, and I can't wait for you to make magical memories at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Janice!
