    Hi! Are the prices in the Disney store in Downtown Disney less or the same as the stores within the parks? Will I find the same merchandise in both places? What is the best place to get personalized Mickey ears? thx! 16 days to go!!!

    Hi, Sonia!  You'll find the prices on things are pretty consistent throughout the theme parks and resorts.  If you find something in a park, it will likely be the same price if you see it in a shop in Downtown Disney or in a resort gift shop.

    You will find the parks carry merchandise that is specific to that park, which you won't find at Downtown Disney.  Downtown Disney shops carry generic Walt Disney World merchandise, but at the parks, you'll find things that say EPCOT when you go to EPCOT, or Magic Kingdom when you visit Magic Kingdom.  I also always tell people that if you see something you want, get it when you see it.  While you will find some merchandise is available in multiple locations, not all of the merchandise is.  I hate it when people are disappointed.  Grab it if you see it and know you want it.  

    For personalized Mickey ears, you can head to Downtown Disney.  They have great options for creating your own ears at an area over by the Art of Disney shop.
