What is the price for a 8 and 9 year old to visit magic kingdom August 16th through the 20th.

Hey there, hi there, ho there Vicky! You and your kiddos are as welcome as can be at planDisney! What a wonderful age to experience the magic of Walt Disney World. I'm so excited for you and your little Mouseketeers!

First of all, the time you mentioned in August is an excellent time to visit the Disney parks. Many schools have started by then, so both the crowds and prices are typically lower by mid-August. Woo hoo! Because ticket prices are date based, I checked the theme park ticket calendar to take a peek. Here's what I found. Please note prices quoted are current at this time, but subject to change.

Based on their ages, both of your young guests qualify for a Child's Admission Ticket (ages 3-9). I wasn't sure if you were describing a multi-day ticket? If so, a 5-Day Children's Ticket with Admission to 1 Park Per Day that would be valid any 5 days from Sat, Aug 16, 2025 – Sat, Aug 23, 2025 would be $554.94 (price including tax) each, or $1,109.94 total for two. With this ticket, you could visit Magic Kingdom all 5 days... or mix it up at any combination of the four Disney World Theme Parks.

Or perhaps you were interested in just a single day admission ticket for Magic Kingdom during that date range? If so, when visiting on Aug 16, 17, or 18 the total cost of two Children's Admission Tickets would be $328.02 (includes tax). The price goes down a little if visiting on Aug 19 or 20, and the total cost for your two tickets would be $285.42 (includes tax).

If you are looking to maximize one amazing day at Disney, I highly recommend trying to arrive at "rope drop"... right when the park opens. With kids this can sometimes be a challenge, but you can bribe them with the promise they will get to ride more rides this way! The lines are shorter earlier in the day, so arriving when the park opens let's you hit the ground running and get to experience more attractions.

If the weather is hot during your visit, taking a break indoors for an air conditioned show like Country Bear Jamboree, the 3D Mickey's PhilharMagic, or (my kid's favorite!) the Enchanted Tiki Room can be a welcome and fun reprieve. There's typically a short wait time for these, and it's a nice chance to rest your feet in a cool theatre if the kids are getting tired.

Wishing upon a star for you to have the Best. Visit. Ever!! Enjoy every moment, and please visit me again at planDisney if I can provide with any other ideas or recommendations for your extraordinary time at Magic Kingdom.

    Magical Memories Await!
