Hi Jessica! Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you're ready to be the planner extraordinaire for your magical vacation to
Walt Disney World Resort next year! While I truly treasure my little nuclear family trips we also have the BEST time when we bring "extra" family members like grandparents and cousins! Last June my family and I visited the Resort as a group of 10 and we had the best time. While we did split up for some attractions and meals we got to spend so much quality time together and we made the very best memories.
When starting to plan, especially for a group, I like to start by browsing through the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Here, you'll find over 25 Resorts to fit every style, budget, and party size. Depending on how you want to configure your sleeping arrangements you may want to look into reserving two standard Guest rooms or a 2- bedroom villa that sleeps at least eight people. You'll find that many
Disney Deluxe Resorts, such as
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and
Disney's Old Key West Resort have villas that can sleep a party of your size.
Once you've chosen your unique accommodations you'll select your perfect room and be offered a subtotal of your Resort pricing. On the following webpage, you'll be offered a chance to add
Theme Park Tickets to your package. Depending on how many Park days you're looking for and whether or not you wish to add on options like having a
Park Hopper Option Ticket (being able to visit more than one Theme Park per day), you'll again be given a new subtotal of your Resort and Ticket prices.
On the following page, you'll again see your subtotal and an offer for Memory Maker.
Memory Maker might be a great add-on for your party! If you want to make sure everyone gets into your photos let a Disney PhotoPass photographer do the work!
Disney PhotoPass Photographers take amazing shots all over the Parks and all you'll have to do is download your special photos at the end of your trip!
Feel free to come back and see us again with any other planning questions that might pop up between now and your magical vacation!
