I see price differences with the all star hotels. If they are all value hotels why is the price different? Is one better than another?

    Hiya Kellie,

Welcome to planDisney. There is no better way to kick off the start of spring than a trip to Walt Disney World Resort. Your magical adventure will be here before you know it and you have the next few months to put your final plans in place.

We love Disney's All-Star Resorts! These three options, Disney's All-Star Music Resort, Disney's All-Star Movies Resort and Disney's All-Star Sports Resorts are all Value Resort selections offered in the Disney Resorts Collection. These are fantastic resorts that provide Guests the chance to stay right in the middle of the magic at a great nightly rate. Each resort offers a number of room options and views and the nightly rate does vary based on the options selected. Additionally, the All-Star Music option does offer a select number of family suite options that are not provided at the Sports or Movies locations. Price differences between the resorts for the same dates often occur due to the room selections currently available. For example, one resort may only have preferred view rooms remaining which would cost slightly more than a standard view that may still be offered at another resort. Otherwise, there may be slight variations in rates between the resorts depending on availability at that particular time, but generally speaking, similar room types often run very close in price. The other good news is the Value Resort options are often included in promotional offerings, making the stay even more affordable.

Now, when it comes to selecting one of these resorts over another, I truly believe all three are great resorts. Other than the family suite option offered at Disney's All-Star Music location, the rooms are very similar in size and layout. Additionally the amenities are fantastic with each one offering swimming pools, an arcade, playground, gift shop, and quick service food court. They all provide easy access to the complimentary Resort Transportation system and since they are all located in the same area, the transportation time to the theme parks and Disney Springs is about the same regardless which resort you select. I really believe selecting your favorite comes down to theming. As a mom of all boys, and a fellow sports nut myself, we love the great outdoor sports areas to play in and find the gigantic sports equipment very cool! The All-Star Movies location tends to be the most popular among my friends that have younger children as they love the larger than life movie memorabilia, like Little Bo Beep or the Mighty Ducks helmet. I have also heard from many that they think the pool here is the best out of any of the All-Star options.

No matter which one of the three you select, you will be immersed in the bright colors and fun Disney touches everywhere you look. If I can assist with any additional planning questions, please stop back and see me
