So we had previously booked a moderate resort for July 12-15. Today’s report made it sound like on the DVC resorts will be open at first. So does that mean I should cancel my stay for July at a moderate? Thanks!!

It’s great to see you here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sarah! Thank you for stopping by with your question.

Spending time at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel tops my list of favorite things! Moderate resorts are wonderful in that you are able to get some luxurious amenities at an affordable price. From the stunning elegance of Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, to the convenience of being whisked away on the Disney Skyliner at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, moderate resort hotels have so much magic to offer!

At this time, there has been a pause on new Disney Resort hotel reservations, as well as modifying existing reservations. I do have great news for you, Sarah: the focus right now is on Guests like you who have existing reservations and tickets! The Disney Reservations team will be reaching out to Guests with current reservations and tickets to provide additional details. I would encourage you to wait until you speak to a Cast Member first before making any changes, as I’m sure they will have further details for you when they do reach out. If you would like to check availability with Disney Vacation Club for July, you would need to contact Disney Vacation Club directly. July is just around the riverbend, and you'll be making magical memories soon!

Sarah, I hope you have the most enchanting vacation at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
