On my previous wdw trip I stayed at pop century for 3 weeks in an accessible room - June 2018 In the uk this is 1 room But I was given access to an adjoining room - was this a mistake or is this what pop century does dmfor accessible rooms ?

Hi Joseph and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you enjoyed your stay at Disney’s Pop Century Resort! My family and I really liked the upgrades to the resort rooms during our stay there last May. Thanks for stopping in to see us!

I’ve been staying at Disney Resort hotels for many years, so I’ve noticed exactly what you’re talking about. It’s not unusual to see these doors, even in an accessible room. My young girls always wonder who might be on the other end of that door!

That locked door gives larger families the option to a connecting room. All they have to do is unlock both of those doors to magically double their space during their stay. Resort Reservation Cast Members always do their best to accommodate these requests in advance, so families wanting this type of configuration have made a note on their resort reservation with lots of anticipation.

Joseph, we’re happy to answer any and all of your questions about the Walt Disney World Resort. If you need some help planning your next visit, don’t hesitate to stop by again to see us. It’s our pleasure to help you figure out all of the details of your next magical visit!
