In previous trips to WDW with grandparents, we stayed in two rooms at PO-Riverside. We are looking at a suite at All Star Music. What are your thoughts on the diff btwn the two re: value, amenities, location, etc. Any other suggestions on where to stay?

Hi, Jacquie!  I love the family suites at the All Star Music resort for the value and convenience.  The suite comes with a kitchenette that allows us to store some things in the refrigerator and eat breakfast or snacks in our room.  I like having the microwave, too, especially on those evenings where our eyes were bigger than our appetites at dinner.  I have a place to store the leftovers and a place to heat up Dad's midnight snack!

The suites also come with two full bathrooms, so you won't have to worry about waiting too long for the showers.  The suite has one separate bedroom, with a king sized bed and television; and then the living room features three fold out options (a double bed and two singles) and another television.

You haven't said when you might be checking in, but you might also consider the brand new, opening in May Art of Animation Resort.  With themes based on some of your favorite Disney movies, you'll find these family suites have the same separate master bedroom, and three separate sleeping options in the living space.

The biggest difference between the family suites and the moderate resort is going to be your dining options.  You'll have the food courts at either the All Stars or the Art of Animation resorts, but Port Orleans offers you Boatwright's as a sit down option.  I find transportation to be about the same, and you'll have a refrigerator either way.

    Have a wonderful time choosing!
