Ahoy Lynn!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am excited that you will be going on a high seas adventure with Captain Mickey!
YES! You can certainly prepay your
gratuities prior to your sailing. You can do so by contacting Disney Cruise Line or Travel Agency at least three days before your cruise. Disney Cruise Line has suggested gratuities per night, per guest, that will be automatically charged unless you specify otherwise. To change the amount or to pay in cash once onboard, you can visit Guest Services (Deck 3, Midship) to do so. If you do not prepay your gratuities, they will simply be applied to your onboard stateroom account.
It is important to note that not all gratuities are covered automatically (either prepaid or onboard). If you prepay gratuities, these amounts are distributed between your Stateroom Host and Rotational Dining team. Spa services in
Senses Spa and Salon are subject to an 18% gratuity and bar, beverage and wine, as well as drinks on deck are subject to a 15% gratuity charged to your bill.
Additional service experiences that are not included in prepaid gratuities include the adults exclusive restaurants,
Palo and
Remy, Port Adventures and room service. We always like to carry extra cash and a few cards to thank them for their service! Also, if sailing in a Concierge stateroom, the Concierge team welcomes gratuities if they provide exceptional service, but are not included in the prepaid amounts.
Enjoy your adventure! Angie
