Preparing for 10/13 sailing on the Dream. I like to plan all details in advance and freaking out not having an exact itinerary. Waiting to read the navigator on board doesn't help me now! What to expect regarding pirate night and hal party? Combined?

Welcome aboard, Jamie! If you aren't already, it's time to start counting down the days until you set sail on the Disney Dream! How exciting!

You have extra magic in store with the Halloween on the High Seas sailing because you'll get to experience all sorts of spooky fun, including Mickey's Mouse-querade Party. This fun night of trick or treating and dancing will be on a different night than the popular Pirate Night. So, unless your Halloween costume is a pirate too, you'll want to pack two costumes: your scallywag best for Pirate Night and a Halloween costume as well.

I, too, am a big planner, so I find it hard to not know exactly what activities are taking place when before I sail, but my advice is to plan for what you do know and let Disney surprise you with the rest! They always have some sort of special magic in store, and you'll have fun discovering that each day as you receive your Personal Navigator onboard. Bring a few different highlighters - one color for each family member - so you can highlight your favorites and must-do's each day!

Have a wonderful cruise, Jamie! I'm sure you'll enjoy every moment!
