We are preparing to make our reservations for our trip in September and are debating between the Chip 'N' Dale's Harvest Feast at the Garden Grill and Chef Mickey's for dinner one evening, with our girls ages 4 & 1. Do you recommend one over the other?

With the ages of your kids, without hestitation, I'd say go to Chef Mickey's. Here's why:

    - Chef Mickey's is a buffet, Garden Grill has a fixed menu. In my experience, preschoolers often go through food "phases." With a buffet, you have more options to suit their changeable palates. Plus the child can see the food in advance, which sometimes adds to their comfort level.
    - Chef Mickey's is a more bustling, boisterous environment. Any noise your kids make will have very little impact on others in the restaurant.
    - There are little "parties" at Chef Mickey's that little kids like. Periodically the characters will dance in the restaurant and kids will be asked to join in the fun.
    - Chef Mickey's has an awesome dessert buffet and MAKE YOUR OWN SUNDAES. My girls are endlessly fascinated by this. Their eyes always much bigger than their tummies, but as a special treat, we let them create whatever they want at Chef Mickey's. Their icecreamgummybearoreosprinklesaucem&m concoctions are icky drippy messes, but they have such incredible fun making them.

Hope you have a great trip!
