As we're preparing for our first ever cruise, I'm wondering if we need to plan on packing items that hotels usually provide - hair dryer, shampoo, etc. Are these provided in-room similar to a hotel?

    Ahoy, Hilary!
Packing for your first high sea adventure is one of the most important tasks to accomplish before the big day arrives in June! There is a helpful packing list on the Disney Cruise Line website to reference as you start to gather the necessary items. The Disney Fantasy has powerful, full sized hair dryers for you to use, so there is no need to bring yours from home. I'm picky about hair dryers and found the ones on the Disney Fantasy to work very well on my thick hair. I also love the wonderful H20+ Spa bath products provided on board. Last time I sailed, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and soap were all provided. Our stateroom host replenished them as we ran out throughout the week. If you prefer to use body wash, you will need to bring that onboard with you.
It's such an exciting time as you prepare for your first magical voyage, Hilary! Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions as you plan. We are always happy to help!
    Happy Packing!
