Hi there, Matthew!
Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your question for us.
I’m so sorry to hEAR you’re thinking about canceling your magical vacation. Although the clock may strike midnight on your current plans, know that the magic of Walt Disney World Resort will be here when you’re ready to embark on new adventures!
Matthew, although
theme park tickets are non-refundable, your wholly unused tickets never lose their value. This means, when you’re ready to return to the magic, you can use the value of your current tickets to purchase new ones. Please note, should there be a price difference in the tickets, you would need to pay the difference.
If your trip has not yet passed, I recommend changing your theme park ticket date online through your
My Disney Experience Mobile app. To do this, open up your app and click on the three horizontal lines located on the bottom right. Then, you will select “Tickets and Passes” and locate the tickets you’d like to change. Select “Change Ticket” to choose your new arrival date.
Once your tickets have expired, you will have to
call Existing Tickets and speak to a friendly Cast Member who can help you apply the value of the ticket towards a new one. Please do be sure to keep your confirmation number with you, as the Cast Member will need this to be able to look up the ticket.
We can’t wait to welcome you to the magic when you’re ready, Matthew!
Aena
