? about PreOrdering a PhotoPass CD. When you preorder a cd do you also get the prints or do you have to pay extra for the prints. I'm just trying to decide if I should buy one. Trying to stay on budget. Going Thanksgiving Week. Thank you.

When you purchase the PhotoPass CD, you are only given the CD. No prints are included. However, once you have the CD you can use that to print out your own photos at home (or through a commercial service such as snapfish, Kodak Gallery, etc.) MUCH more cheaply than purchasing them through Disney. Prices can change, but the purchase of a single 5x7 print of a PhotoPass picture through Disney will cost about $10-12. You can print a 5x7 print from the CD at home for less than $1. The cost savings there are obviously huge. And if you only want standard 4x6 prints you can usually get these at home for 10 to 20 cents.

The rule of thumb for deciding whether you should purchase the PhotoPass CD is that if you think you're going to want prints of more than 10 to 12 of your PhotoPass pictures, then it is more economical to buy the CD than the prints from Disney.
