I am preordering lunch for BOG. We have the dining plan. I know it comes with entree, dessert and drink but I don't see dessert choices for kids listed. What do they get and how do I order it?

Bonjour, Jennifer! Dining inside the enchanted Beast's castle at Be Our Guest Restaurant is our daughters' favorite way to take a break while at Magic Kingdom Park. There are so many delicious entrees to choose from, both on the Adult and Kids' menus. While many Quick-Service dining locations across Walt Disney World Resort have children order an entree with one side, a beverage, and a dessert, Be Our Guest Restaurant has built their Kids' Menus in a distinctly different way. I have found the menu selections at this restaurant to be a great way to encourage my children to try new and healthy sides, which they have found to be, "wow! Really good, Mom!"

Take a look at the Kids' Menu listing for Be Our Guest Restaurant. You will notice that there are two sides listed with each entree. Instead of having just one side and a dessert, kids are able to order two sides, one of which could be one of the sweeter side offerings, such as the peach applesauce. They do not have to stick with the sides that are listed with each of their entree choices. If they would rather have sweet potato wedges instead of mashed sweet potatoes, they are welcome to "Be Our Guest" to this swap!

As you complete your lunch preorder, the system should cue you to choose two sides for the Kids' Menu item. I can totally understand if your little ones would much rather have a Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcake with their meal. No need to ask the dishes; I can tell you they are so delicious! Just go ahead and add a cupcake to your order, and you can pay for it separately from your Disney Dining Plan Quick-Service credits upon your arrival at the restaurant, or you can even use a dining plan snack credit to pay for it.

I hope this helps you make your lunch selections a little easier. Please let me know if you have any further questions!
