Can I pre-order a birthday cake somewhere inside the Magic Kingdom?

    Hello, Monica!

Thanks for stopping by the planDisney Panel with your question. Celebrating birthdays at Walt Disney World Resort is extra magical! My wife and I have celebrated numerous family birthdays at Walt Disney World with our four children. From dining at Cinderella's Royal Table to spending the day riding the birthday boy or girl's favorite attractions, we have many special memories from these celebrations.

I'm happy to let you know that Mickey Mouse Celebration Cakes are available at participating Magic Kingdom restaurants, including The Crystal Palace, Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen, and Liberty Tree Tavern. You can view a full list of participating restaurants here.

Guests have a choice of chocolate or white chocolate cakes and they are supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! A special "Happy Birthday" message is available on the chocolate ears, or you can choose to leave the ears blank. One cake feeds 4 to 6 Guests and they are $35, plus tax and gratuities. To add a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake to a future dining reservation, visit the restaurant's host podium. Requests for same-day cakes must be made in person when you arrive at the restaurant.

Another tip I like to share with Guests celebrating birthdays is to pick up a complimentary "Happy Birthday" button to wear on your special day. Stop by any Guest Relations location or the Front Desk of your Disney Resort Hotel to pick one up!

Please let me know if I can help you with any other questions before your magical Walt Disney World vacation.

    Have a magical day!
