Hi, I am pregnant and going to food and wine festival with my family. Obviously I know I can’t drink alcohol, but when it comes to the amazing food options will I be able to eat the majority of things? This is my first pregnancy. Thank you!

    Hi there, Rebecca!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and congratulations on your pregnancy! I know you are looking forward to taking your future Mouseketeer to "The Most Magical Place on Earth" once he or she is born. As for now, it looks like you'll be heading to the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival in just a few short days. I just returned from a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort and had a chance to visit Epcot for this delicious event, so I'm glad you sent in your question.

Rebecca, there are lots AND lots of tasty options for you to sample at over 30 Global Marketplaces. If you have some time before you leave, you can find descriptions of what each Global Marketplace has to offer to give you a good idea of what you might like to try. If not, don't worry because there will be a Food and Wine Festival Passport booklet you can pick up as you enter Epcot. This will also have descriptions and locations of each food and beverage offering. I think you'll find more than enough to eat as you make your way through World Showcase and Future World. If you like donuts, be sure to check out The Donut Box located near Test Track. They had a non-alcoholic Strawberry Smoothie and Strawberry-dusted Yeast Donut Holes that both looked heavenly!

So my best advice is to arrive hungry and use your Food and Wine Festival Passport as your meal guide on your culinary adventure, Rebecca! Thank you for sending in your question and enjoy your visit!
