Hi Conlan,
I just dined at
Chefs de France this past week and it was so delicious. This is one of my favorite Prix Fixe menus at Disney World because it does not have set items. You get the option to order any appetizer, entree, dessert, and either a nonalcoholic drink or a glass of red or white wine directly off of the menu. The menu there is to die for!
Prix Fixe menus are one of the best
Disney Dining Plan hacks because most restaurants that offer them will allow you to order the Prix Fixe menu utilizing one table service meal from your dining plan. That makes Chefs de France an exceptional value because it is a huge meal that I also feel has a signature dining vibe to it for one Table-Service meal redemption. They do not publish that you can utilize this at Chefs de France so I would check with your server before ordering. I have talked to a couple of people who were allowed to use their table-service meal for the Prix Fixe dining option at Chefs de France recently and I have used it in the past the same way so you should be good to go.
I sampled quite a few options on my most recent visit. The Filet de Saumon, Riz Pilaf, and Sauce Beurre Blanc is crispy and delicious. It is a great option for a lighter meal to save room for the dessert because you will want space for the Tarte au chocolat Valrhona or the Creme Brûlée.
Since you all be utilizing the Disney Dining Plan, I recommend having a snack game plan so that you utilize all of your snacks in the best way possible. Snacking at Disney World is one of the best ways to spend a day. I normally reserve several snacks for a day at EPCOT. This is especially true during one of the fabulous festivals they host each year because there is so much to snack on that you don't want to miss! The
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival typically starts in July and runs through November so it should be in full swing during your trip and will be not only a great place to use those snacks but also a blast!
Happy Planning
Jenna
