Hi Cathy!
Thank you for bringing us your question about
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort! We love booking moderate resort stays, as it offers us the opportunity to enjoy wonderful amenities at great pricing. There are beautifully themed resort pools, and rooms that accommodate five guests, which is perfect for us. Not to mention that each resort offers both table service and quick service options for your dining pleasure! For our family, and you'll find that for yours, moderate is definitely the way to go!
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one of the largest resorts on property, so much so that it offers its own internal bus system to get from one area of the resort to the other. Each of the Caribbean Beach Resort rooms measures approximately 314 feet. There are no larger rooms available at the resort as each of the 'villages' was built similar to the other. If you are looking for a five-person room, you are in luck, as many of the resort rooms offer a pull-down bed, which can accommodate a guest up to 150 pounds. Keep in mind they are smaller beds, so it is perfect for a child. While no larger than a standard room, a preferred room can put you closer to Old Port Royale, where the food court and shopping area is located. These preferred rooms are located in areas of the Martinique and Trinidad villages.
One of the best reasons for reserving a stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach is
Disney Skyliner. The resort is a central hub for the new gondola style transportation, which gives guests access to
Epcot and
Disney's Hollywood Studios! We are HUGE fans of Disney Skyliner, and being a walk away allows us to enjoy the ease of transportation to some of our favorite parks!
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
