Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Teresa!
It sounds like you are getting ready for an adventure on the high seas with Captain Mickey. I am excited for you to sail away! There is nothing better than hearing your name announced as start your magical vacation. I know my family's smiles are always a little bit bigger once we get onboard!
If you or someone in your party needs assistance getting around the ship, an electric scooter is a good way to
navigate the decks while onboard. Disney Cruise Line is great about creating a positive experience for each guest onboard without exception. All of the onboard spaces including the dining rooms,
lounges and
theaters are accessible! You can also
contact a Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist to book an
accessible stateroom if need be.
You are welcome to bring your own scooter or have one delivered to you at the port. Disney Cruise Line does not work exclusively with a provider, but I have heard from some of my fellow cruisers that Scootaround and Special Needs at Sea are businesses that can deliver mobility options to the port on your embarkation day.
I hope I have steered you in the right direction, Teresa! Please cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you need any additional help planning your time onboard!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
