Hello there, John! Welcome back to the world of planDisney! We are so excited that you’ve stopped back by and are allowing us to help you plan another vacation to Walt Disney World Resort!
It can certainly be challenging to
plan a vacation for a family of five particularly when it comes to finding accommodations that will fit everyone! Fortunately, Walt Disney World Resort has a few different options that may work perfectly for your family!
While there are a few
Disney Resort hotels in the moderate level that can accommodate 5 people, these are typically meant to accommodate younger children with the additional sleeping space being a child-size pull-down bed. I’m assuming your teenagers would not likely enjoy sleeping on such a small-sized bed! Based on your information, it sounds as though the best fit for your needs in the Moderate category would be
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. Here, you will find cabins large enough to accommodate 6 adults which should work great for your family! This is also an incredibly fun resort to visit with the entire family due to the incredible assortment of
recreational activities and outdoor amenities!
If you are interested in accommodations outside of the Moderate category, there are a few other options you may want to consider as well! In the Value category, you will find Family Suites at both
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Both of these locations are able to accommodate up to 6 adults while also being incredibly affordable! Moving up into the
Deluxe category, you will find a variety of Villas that are able to accommodate between 5 to 12 adults. Additionally, each of these room options includes a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and family room! These are perfect for families looking for a few more amenities included in their accommodations.
I hope this information assists you in choosing the perfect accommodations for your family’s visit to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as you continue to plan for your winter vacation!
