Howdy, Sharon! Welcome back to planDisney! Your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just around the corner, so I hope you've packed your Minnie ears. Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a fantastic way to get the most magic from your time in the theme parks, so let's look at some booking strategies.
You do not have to book three experiences when you make your initial selections and purchase a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. I chatted with a helpful Cast Member who said that, theoretically, if you only book two, you should see a message that lets you select an attraction at the top of the Wait Times & Showtimes screen in your
mobile app, even before redeeming your first attraction.
However, the Cast Member also said that the system typically works more smoothly when you start with three attractions; that way, there's no danger of a glitch that could cause you to lose that third slot. So here's my advice.
Go ahead and book a third attraction at your initial theme park. My tip is to book one with an early return window so you can scan in, then select a new attraction early in the day. And the best part is that you can select the new attraction at any theme park, assuming you have the
Park Hopper Option.
Another tip is that once you've scanned in at your first attraction,
you can modify that third attraction to any theme park. So that's another vote for selecting all three initially! I'm all for getting my money's worth, Sharon.
If you decide to make only two selections and are having trouble booking subsequent attractions, you can head to any
Guest Relations location. I love working with the
Guest Experience Team at the blue umbrellas located around the theme parks. They are wizards and will be happy to assist.
Sharon, I hope I've given you some options to consider for your Lightning Lane selections. The passes offer a lot of flexibility, leading to many options. I know your vacation is going to be practically perfect in every way! Please
stop by planDisney anytime.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
