Hello Claire!
Welcome back to planDisney! I think you will love
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge! I remember from your previous questions you enjoy Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, and both resorts were designed by the same architect! You will notice some similarities, such as the beautiful high ceiling in the main lobby.
There are currently two options for breakfast at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. The resort offers quick-service dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at
Roaring Fork. Enjoy delicious items like bagel sandwiches, oatmeal, or breakfast platters with eggs, meat, and potatoes, and classics like Mickey Waffles! Quick-service locations cannot be reserved in advance, but you can use
Disney’s Mobile Order to place your order, then proceed to the restaurant to pick-up your food.
If you prefer to enjoy a table service restaurant, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is home to a fan-favorite location,
Whispering Canyon Cafe! Mosey on over to this western-themed dining experience for all-you-care-to-enjoy skillets and regular entrees served up with some fun and shenanigans! The breakfast here is delicious and always enjoyable with some silly and sassy waitstaff, so be careful what you ask for! Requesting a large drink may result in a giant container being delivered to your table! Want a straw? You may end up with half a dozen! If you will be staying at Wilderness Lodge, I highly recommend you dine here at least once.
Advance Dining Reservations are highly encouraged as this is a very popular location and books quickly. Currently, Advance Dining Reservations can be made for up to 10 days of dining reservations, 60 days in advance of your Walt Disney World Resort check-in date. Those not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel can make Advance Dining Reservations 60 days in advance of the day they wish to dine.
Since your visit isn’t until next spring, I would continue to watch in case the booking of Advance Dining Reservations changes. Before Covid-19, Advance Dining Reservations could be booked 180 days in advance of resort check-in. While the booking window could stay at 60, there is always the possibility Disney could go back to the 180-day timeframe before the spring of 2022.
While it is not available at this time, by next year,
Disney Private Dining could also make a return. No advance booking would be needed and breakfast would be delivered right to your room. It's the ultimate in convenience.
I hope this helps as you plan your visit and your delicious breakfasts, Claire! Keeping sending those questions, we are here to help!
