Hiya, Vita, and welcome to planDisney!
Oh my goodness! Your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth is so soon! You must be feeling as excited as Anna on Coronation Day, like she was
opening up the gates to a whole new world of magic and possibilities. It seems like
Disability Access Service (DAS) has undergone some updates since your last visit, so let's take a moment to get you fully up to speed on how it works now!
DAS is designed to assist Guests who, due to developmental disabilities, may find it difficult to wait in traditional queues for long periods. Rather than providing immediate entry for attractions, DAS allows Guests to request a return time for a specific experience that aligns with the current standby wait. The Guest for whom DAS is requested must be present during the
live video chat to discuss which services might best support their visit.
Unlike before, there are no pre-selected return times with DAS. Instead, you can schedule your first return time right on your
My Disney Experience app after scanning into the park you're visiting. Once you redeem that return time, you'll be able to make your next selection approximately 10 minutes later.
I hope that clears things up, Vita! Before I go, I wanted to let you know that there are two new entertainment offerings at Hollywood Studios!
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After is a wickedly fun stage show featuring some of our favorite villains as you've never seen them before! And over at Animation Courtyard,
The Little Mermaid: A Musical Adventure, which beautifully retells Ariel's under-the-sea story.
Vita, thank you for stopping by planDisney! Come back and see us again if any other questions pop up!
Magical Wishes,
Kami
