How can I Pre pay gratuities? I was told by my TA I could do it online? Also, when do I put our passport info in? When I check in? Because my TA told me I can do both at anytime as I am paid off?

Welcome aboard, Jessica! You must feel great to have your cruise paid off already and still have three months left to plan all the fun details!

Since this is your first cruise with Disney Cruise Line, you'll be able to log into your reservation to begin your online check in 75 days prior to sailing. At that time you can add passport numbers for each family member under "Identification" if they are not already listed.

To prepay your gratuities, simply call Disney Cruise Line at 800-951-3532, or do so onboard at Guest Services. If you call ahead of time, one of the agents there can take that payment for you, leaving you one less thing to think about once you're onboard! Traditionally, gratuities are paid per person (including children) per night to the following Cast Members:

    Server: $4/night
    Assistant Server: $3/night
    Head Server: $1/night
    Stateroom Host: $4/night

You can do the math depending on how long your cruise is and how many family members you have. Of course, once you're onboard and get to interact with these fabulous Cast Members, you are always welcome to add more to the tip if you receive extra special service. We always have received amazing service and love to thank these wonderful Cast Members! The final night of your cruise, you'll receive tip envelopes in your stateroom and a little ticket showing you prepaid. You can enclose those in the envelopes and give those to these Cast Members before you leave as you thank them. We always hate saying goodbye, as by the time our cruise ends, they feel like part of the family!

I hope that helps as you continue to plan your cruise, Jessica! Let me know if you have any other questions before you set sail!
