Welcome to planDisney, Chesley, glad you sailed back by!
My pal, Ryan, always has great advice to help other Guests prepare for their
Disney Cruise Line vacations so I’m glad it was helpful to you.
Now, if you find that you would like to have other beverages delivered to your stateroom after the ship sets sail, you could order
In-Room Dining. In-Room Dining is available 24 hours a day except for the final night of the cruise, at which time In-Room Dining is available until 1:00 a.m. You can find the In-Room Dining menu on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, so be sure to download the app before you board. I often order the
All Hands on Deck, a yummy selection of international cheeses served with crackers, along with a glass of wine as our group is getting ready for dinner. Most items on the In-Room Dining items are complimentary, although there is a charge for any soda and/or alcoholic beverages. Also, be aware that on those items a 15% gratuity is automatically added and will be to your onboard account.
Chesley, I have a couple of other recommendations for you to consider for enjoying some of the
adult offerings on board the ship. First, be on the lookout for the drink of the day offered on board. These are usually the most popular offerings and have a fun vacation feel to them. Second, among my favorite Disney Cruise Line offerings are the
Beverage Tastings. The mixologists in the lounges host these events and they are incredibly knowledgeable in their profession. I’ve learned so much about the complexities of bourbon, tequila, wine and martinis aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship! One of my favorite beverage seminars was on
Disney Castaway Cay, an apropos setting for learning about Caribbean rum. The Beverage Tastings are popular activities so I suggest b
ooking these Cruise Activity offerings as soon as your booking window opens. You can do this on the Disney Cruise Line website (sign in to My Reservations under the Already Booked tab) or on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator.
Thanks for cruising by with your question, Chesley. Please stop by again if you need any other tips before you sail away.
Wishing you a magical cruise,
Shannon
