Tamara from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Can we postpone park visits due to illness? Our grand baby is sick and we would like to delay our visit. The tickets I bought for my daughter and husband are valid from 10 to 15 but we like to see if we can push it back to the following week or two.

    Hi there, Tamara!

It sounds like you're planning to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth! There's nothing better than making memories together with your favorite people. But oh, bother - it sounds like life may have taken a not-so-magical turn and you're hoping to reschedule your trip. I'm wishing upon a star that your grandbaby heals soon and you can return to the magic together!

Tamara, since I'm not sure of the exact details of your trip, let's take a few steps to get you started in the right direction. If you booked a vacation package, which includes both tickets and a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can often modify these dates online. To do this, log into the Walt Disney World Resort website, hover your mouse over the My Disney Experience tab, and click My Plans. Scroll down until you see your reservation and click the link that says "Modify Reservation." Here, you should be able to change the dates of your trip, depending on availability. Depending on which resorts are available, you may wish to change resorts or even pick another date in the future that has more availability. Please know that the total price of your trip may change with this shift. If you tried the above steps and haven't been able to modify your reservation, my next best piece of advice would be to call a Cast Member at your earliest convenience. Have your reservation numbers handy and explain the situation you're currently experiencing. While nothing is guaranteed, the Cast Member will be happy to help you with the next best steps that are available to you!

I'm sending you all the faith, trust, and pixie dust that you're able to make a change where your whole family can experience the magic together at Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions, please write to us again. We're always happy to help!

You've got a friend in me,
