There are many post about kids ordering from the adult menu, but I have the opposite. My 13 year old is picky and because of her age I had to count her as an adult on the DDP, but she likes the food on the childs menu. Can she order from there? Thank you!

    Hi Holly!

I also have some picky eaters in my family so I can totally understand your concern about your daughter being able to choose food she enjoys.   On past vacations to Walt Disney World teenage family members of mine were able to order entrees from the kids menu using the Disney Dining Plan.  The Cast Members were very helpful and scaled the kids menu item to fit an adult appetite.   Often you will also be able to substitute items you may not enjoy for something that is more pleasing.   My husband recently ordered a entrée but substituted the children's dessert option instead of one of the adult choices.  He smiled ear to ear as the server brought him a delicious Ice Cream Sundae complete with cookie Mickey ears on top.

Holly, I hope you have a fantastic time with your family on your upcoming vacation.  If you think of anything else we can assist you with, please let us know.  All the Disney Parks Moms Panelist enjoy helping Guests plan magical Disney Parks adventures.

    Happy Disney Dining,
