Is it possible to watch the paint the night parade and the fireworks show at the same time (back I'm disabled and will be in a electric wheelchair so I can't just get a space like I used to being in a chair My view can easily be blocked

Hi Ruben! Welcome to planDisney! It’s such an exciting time at the Disneyland Resort with both Paint the Night and Wondrous Journeys lighting up the skies once again. I’m delighted to help you find the perfect viewing spot for these beloved nighttime spectaculars.

Currently, Paint the Night follows the parade route through Disneyland, while Wondrous Journeys can be enjoyed from multiple viewing areas throughout the resort. That said, my top recommendation for catching both shows with minimal obstructions is the area directly across from the entrance to “it’s a small world.” From this spot, you’ll be able to enjoy the first performance of Paint the Night and then stay right where you are to experience Wondrous Journeys. It’s one of those rare locations that offers a magical view of both shows from a single vantage point.

This area has also included designated spaces for guests with mobility disabilities in the past, so I’d suggest arriving at least an hour in advance of Paint the Night to see if any of those spaces are still available. Cast Members nearby will be happy to guide you if you have any questions once you're there.

An added bonus? This spot is also one of the prime viewing areas for A Tapestry of Happiness, a vibrant projection show that plays across the “it’s a small world” façade. It takes guests on a whimsical, nostalgic journey through Disneyland attractions, past and present, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite elements of Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration!

If that area becomes too crowded, another solid secondary location is near the end of Main Street, close to the Hub. While there may be more visual obstructions here (especially due to trees or light posts), it still offers a good chance to enjoy both Paint the Night and Wondrous Journeys from a centralized spot.

If you have additional questions about navigating the Disneyland Resort with an electric wheelchair, Ruben, I recommend checking out the “Services for Guests with Mobility Disabilities” page on the Disneyland website, or feel free to stop by and visit us again here at planDisney. We’d be more than happy to help!

Wishing you a magical and memorable night at the Disneyland Resort!
