Hi! Is it possible to walk to Disneys art of animation from Disney springs? Or can we drive over? There’s a tshirt in the hotel store I want to pick up while I’m in disney springs this weekend

    Hey there, Katie!

Thanks for bringing another question our way. I love crafting a fun-filled weekend itinerary, especially when it involves Disney and shopping, a truly perfect pair! I'm happy to help you check all those Saturday to-do's off your list.

I'm sure you have lots of fun activities already planned at Disney Springs but unfortunately, walking over to Disney's Art of Animation Resort won't be one of them. The two destinations are located just over 3 miles from one another, but the route isn't pedestrian accessible the entire way. But not to worry! You can easily hop on board a complimentary bus from Disney Springs directly to Art of Animation and peruse the merchandise at the Ink & Paint Shop in Animation Hall. Buses depart approximately every 20 minutes or so, and it's usually a pretty relaxing way to travel. You may be able to drive your vehicle to Art of Animation, but I can't guarantee Cast Members at the parking gate will let you enter without a reservation.

After shopping your heart out, and maybe even snapping a few photos with the colorful character icons located around the resort, you'll probably be ready for a sweet treat from Landscape of Flavors. I'm partial to the Cookies 'n Cream Sundae Cupcake, but you'll find plenty of delicious options. You can even place a Mobile Food and Beverage Order while you shop, then pick up for the bus ride back to Disney Springs.

I hope this helped, Katie. If we can answer any additional questions please come back and let us know. We're always glad to help.

    Magic and memories,
