    Is it possible to walk from Disney Boardwalk Hotel to Hollywood studios, and if so, how long is the walk and is it safe?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It's my pleasure to assist you with this question. Being able to easily walk to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios is one of my favorite perks of staying at Disney's BoardWalk Inn.  My family has walked the path to Disney's Hollywood Studios many times in the past and have always found it to be safe. Depending upon how briskly you walk, I would allow approximately 15 - 20 minutes. I know there has been a bit of construction in that area lately, so I called Guest Services to verify my information for you. I'm happy to report the pathway from Disney's BoardWalk Inn to Disney's Hollywood Studios is open at this time. A good friend is currently staying at this popular resort, and she confirmed the pathway was open this morning. That being said, I would suggest that you check with the Front Desk upon your arrival as things could always change.

    If you decide to not walk to the park, the "Friendship boats" are a great transportation option from this resort location. My family often prefers to walk to the park in the morning, and enjoy a relaxing ride back after a long day in the park. Please know that operating hours are subject to change. Be sure to check out Ample Hills Creamery during your stay. My boys absolutely love the Cotton Candy Ice Cream!
