Hi Dana,
There is something extra special about the
Rainforest Cafe at Disney's Animal Kingdom. I don't know if it is the fact that it is steps away from the theme park or if they are just doing something extra, but it is our favorite location to visit. The service is great, the food is delicious, and the store is fun to wander around in after you finish your meal.
Luckily, you can head over to this location for breakfast without a theme park ticket. It is located outside of the main gates to Animal Kingdom and has a separate entrance that does not require a theme park ticket. You can take the
bus transportation from your Disney Resort hotel right over to the Animal Kingdom and walk straight in for breakfast. I do recommend making sure you have a reservation because this location is super busy in the morning with people filling up before they head out for a day at the theme parks. Reservations open 60 days before your planned visit, so make sure you grab one ahead of time. If you have not tried it before, the Tonga Toast is epic and I highly recommend it!
If you are looking for another location to get some great food and hang out on a day you don't plan to go to the theme parks,
Disney Springs is amazing. We always plan at least one day for walking around and enjoying all of the food, shopping, and activities at Disney Springs while we are on vacation at Disney World. There are several fabulous breakfast and brunch options but
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin is always a crowd-pleaser! I have never seen anyone leave that place without a full stomach and a big smile on their face.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
