    Is it possible to upgrade your dining once you have arrived for your vacation?

    Hi Carmen,

    While you can upgrade your park ticket while you are on your Disney vacation, the same is not true of the Dining Plan.

    All changes to your Dining Plan status must be completed at least 72 hours prior to your arrival at Walt Disney World, this includes Dining Plan purchases and upgrades.

    If you're hesitant about which type of plan to buy, my suggestion is to go with the lower level plan. You are always welcome to supplement your meals with additional food purchases. For example, if you're on the basic dining plan but want an appetizer, just go ahead and order it and then pay out of pocket. Similarly, if you'd like more table service dining than your purchased plan allows, you're always welcome to eat at more table service venues, but pay using money rather than dining plan credits.
