Is it possible to take a taxi directly to the Magic Kingdom (therefore bypassing the TTC and monorails)? Also, where is the best place to pick up a taxi when it's time to leave the park? Many thanks!

    Hi Jessica,

While taxis will bring you right to the entrance of Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and the Animal Kingdom, they can't go to the entrance of the Magic Kingdom. If you were to ask a taxi to drop you at the Magic Kingdom, then you would end up at the Transportation and Ticket Center, from which you would need to take the monorail or ferry to get to the park. Also in reverse when you want to leave, there are taxis at the TTC, not at the park itself. There is a bit of a workaround. You could have a cab drop you at the Contemporary resort, which is about a seven minute walk away from the Magic Kingdom, even closer if you ask the cabbie to leave you at the closest edge of the parking lot to the MK rather than at the hotel entrance. Also in reserve, you could go to the monorail area hotels and pick up a cab from there.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you need any additional assistance.
