Welcome to planDisney, Courtney! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today.
Tickets are one of the most important parts of planning your Disney vacation, and it sounds like you've got a few trips on the books this year! Let's chat about what your ticket options are, and then I'll also give you a tip about what I would do if I were planning two trips to Disney World this year.
Courtney, the admission you purchase directly from Disney that are standalone tickets or part of a vacation package are typically date-based, meaning that you'll select a date range in which you'll be using those tickets. That range cannot be split up over multiple visits, and if you choose to purchase a 10-day ticket,
it will expire 14 days after the selected start date. For your upcoming trips, you would need to purchase a 4-day ticket for one visit and a 6-day ticket for the other visit.
With that in mind, have you considered purchasing an
Annual Pass? My general rule of thumb is that if I plan to spend 10 or more days in the Theme Parks in a one-year period, I will typically opt to purchase an Annual Pass. That's about the break-even point for me, and the additional
benefits and discounts are a nice bonus on top! I recommend comparing the price of the Annual Pass to the two tickets you would need to purchase and see if it's something that might work out for you.
Have a magical day, Courtney!
