Is it possible to ship a large box of camping gear to Disney campgrounds to be held for our arrival.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dale! The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is my family’s absolute favorite place to stay when we visit the most magical place on earth. I’m excited to know that you are considering it for your next visit. Thanks so much for sending us your question!

You can have boxes shipped to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel before your arrival. Just make sure to include the word “Guest” above your name, your arrival date and the shipping address of your Disney Resort hotel.

Dale, there is a handling fee of $5 per package for any packages received through the Front Desk or delivered to your campsite.

Did you know that Disney’s Fort Wilderness property is the only place where you can rent a golf cart to get around your resort? We use our golf cart to get to the marina from our cabin, to take the water transportation to the Magic Kingdom Park. It also provides a fun ride to the many recreation activities at your resort, like Chip ‘N’ Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long!

I hope this information is helpful to you as you continue to put together the details of your next visit. Feel free to drop by again with any other questions you might have!
