Is it possible to share a plate at a disney table service restaurant? Does it make a difference if you are paying with credits or money?

    Hi Kate!

Exploring all of the incredible dining options is one of my favorite parts of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!  No matter where you choose to eat, you will fall in love with the festival of flavors offered throughout the resort!

When you dine at a table service restaurant with a regular menu, sharing is usually allowed, although the food is so good I doubt you will want to share!  Plus, since there are so many options on all of the menus, it will be really hard to choose just one!  At some restaurants, there may be a charge for splitting a meal, but usually this is because you receive more food.  If you are using the Disney Dining Plan and order one meal to share, that will use one table service meal from your plan, even if two people are eating the meal.  Remember, if the restaurant is buffet or family-style, you will have to pay per person since sharing a single meal isn't really an option.  If you have any questions about meal size or ability to share meals, you can always ask your server at the restaurant.  They want your vacation to be as magical as possible, so they will do everything they can to make you happy!

Make sure that you download the My Disney Experience mobile app so that you can make advanced dining reservations on the go!  Also, if you don't see an available reservation for the time that you would prefer, keep checking back.  Many times families change their plans at the last minute, so you may be able to get a reservation that someone else dropped!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
